January 12 KHS Invitational
The Wildcat swim team traveled to the Kecoughtan Invitational this past weekend. The 200 medley relay of Sana Alloo, Natalie Leake, Taylor Avery, and Susie Lesniewski took 1st, broke the meet record, the team record, and qualified for States. Other highlights from the meet included...
- Natalie and Susie took 1st and 2nd in the 50 free.
- Natalie and Susie finished 3rd and 6th in the 100 breast and 100 free, respectively.
- Taylor Avery, Will Balberde, and Taylor Knight also added both a Top 8 and Top 16 finish in both of their respective events.
- Sana Alloo and Brett Merker added Top 16 in one of their events.
- The girls 200 free relay of Susie, Taylor, Natalie, and Mallie Lesniewski finished 2nd, broke the team record, and qualified for States.
- Overall, the girls team finished 6th and the boys team finished 9th.
- The boys medley relay of Taylor Knight, Chris Fallon, Bobby, Kelly, and Will Balberde finished 6th.
- the 200 free relay of Johnny Germanis, James Briar, Brett Merker, and Will Balberde finished 4th
