Centreville was hoping to contrite their winning streak. The starters for the game were Marcus Mac, Nathaniel Goldhammer, Caleb Emeogo, Bryce Douglas, and Tyler Lohman. Tyler Lohman was on the tip off, but Herndon won it and scored the first to score. Bryce Douglas scored Centreville’s first points of the game after he drove to the basket and scored two. Both Centreville and Herndon would score a three next with the three by Nathaniel Goldhammer. Centreville would take the lead after Herndon made a two and Bryce Douglas hit a three pointer. Both teams would hit two free throws and Herndon would score two more to end the first quarter leading at a score pf 13-10.
Herndon started with the ball, but Centreville scored a free throw to score the first points of the second quarter. Both teams would hit a 3 with Centreville’s by Christopher Martin. Herndon would then score 6 straight points. Centreville would make a few free throws but Herndon would score a few more points before the end of the half. Centreville scored the last point with a free throw by Nathaniel Goldhammer and the score at the end of the half was 30-23 Herndon.
The third quarter Centreville started with the ball and would gain on Herndon. Centreville would score four baskets by Caleb Emeogo, Talon Murray, and Caleb Emeogo. Herndon would only score 6 points making the score 36-31 with a quarter left to go.
Centreville started with the ball and no team scored 2 minutes 30 seconds into the 4th quarter. Herndon would eventually score the first points of the quarter, but it was quickly matched by a 3 from Christopher Martin. Centreville and Herndon would both score two and Centreville was down by 4 points with 2 minutes left. Bryce Douglas would cut the lead in half with a two. Centreville committed a bunch of fouls and Centreville would eventually be down by 7 with 18.1 seconds left Tyler Lohman would score a three pointer but Herndon would score again. The final score was 47-42.
