Centreville was hoping to start their Concorde Playoffs with a win and make it to the finals. The starters for the game were Marcus Mack, Nathaniel Goldhammer, Caleb Emeogo, Bryce Douglas, and Tyler Lohman. Tyler Lohman was on the tip. Herndon won the tip but the ball went out of bounds. Herndon would score the first points of the game with a free throw and a three pointer. Bryce Douglas would score the first points of the game for Centreville. Herndon and Centreville would both score 2 with Tyler Lohman scoring for Centreville. Herndon would then hit a three. Tyler Lohman would score again for Centreville. Centreville’s next points would be scored by Nathanael Goldhammer and Bryce Douglas. Herndon would score a three. Centreville would score two free throws from Nathaniel Goldhammer. Bryce Douglas would score next tying the game up. Herndon would score twice to end the quarter with the score 18-14.
Centreville started with the ball and Bryce Douglas would score the first points of the quarter. Caleb Emeogo would then score a free throw cutting Herndon’s lead to one. Bryce Douglas would score for Centreville again. Herndon would score three times, including two threes. Bryce Douglas would score in-between Herndon’s points. Tyler Lohman would score Centreville’s next points. Herndon would score a few free throws and a three pointer. Centreville would end the quarter by scoring 4 free throws with Bryce Douglas and Nathaniel Goldhammer scoring. The 1st half ended 31-27 with Herndon in the lead.
Herndon started with the ball and would score the first points of the half with a 2 and a 3. Caleb Emeogo would score a free throw for Centreville’s first points of the quarter. Centreville would score 4 straight points with Tyler Lohman and Bryce Douglas scoring. Herndon would score to extend their lead. Caleb Emeogo would score for Centreville to end the 3rd quarter 40-35 with Herndon leading.
The fourth quarter started with Centreville scoring 7 straight points. Marcus Mack would start the scoring off with Tyler Lohman scoring two free throws. Marcus Mack would then hit a three pointer to give Centreville the lead. Centreville led 42-40 with 4:51 left. Herndon would score twice to reclaim the lead. Bryce Douglas would hit two free throws, but Herndon would score again. Bryce Douglas would score another 2 free throws. Bryce Douglas would score a free throw and then Herndon would call a timeout. Bryce Douglas would score his last free throw to give Centreville a two point lead. Herndon passed to mid-court. The player would then pass it to any unmarked player on the edge of three point range but he would miss to give Centreville the win. Centreville won 48-46.
